Visualisation…Quotation… Creation
Public or Residential, Private Purchase or grant funded, the process begins with a site survey. A Ramps Plus engineer will visit the site and discuss the access needs and requirements of the user or users. On site the surveyor will consider the intended users, the type of ramp, step or rail units required, gradients, potential obstacles & challenges. From here, a site sketch is created to show the intended ramp location. This allows us to give cost options including new, partially new or second hand (where components are available).
If required, we can supply detailed drawings together with the quotation, this will help everyone involved in the process to visualise the finished project, upon approval, the team will organise a suitable date for installation.
Creating Access
Once we receive the quotation approval, we will schedule in a suitable date for the installation. We will liaise with the client and ensure all arrangements are in place prior to work commencing.
All Ramps Plus engineers are skilled installers of the products we supply. In addition to their technical expertise, our installers are extremely empathetic to the varying needs that our elderly or less abled end users may have. We will do everything we can to minimise any impact on daily living routines that the installation may have. We aim to ensure all involved are satisfied with the final result.
RECYCLING
Remove…Reuse…Repeat
Every product we supply is 100% reusable. We offer cost effective, reusable access solutions that last for years to come. These products are the perfect environmentally friendly option; highly versatile and can be removed and reused on several occasions, offering endless installation possibilities. Once a recycling programme is established, substantial savings can be made enabling budgets to go further.
REUSABILITY
The metal modular system has been designed to facilitate easy dismantling and speedy reconfiguration without the need for any cutting or customisation. With recycling and reusability at the centre of the products design.
MANAGEMENT
Ramps Plus can advise you on how best to introduce and successfully manage a recycling programme. This is a service that Mobility Plus offer to many local authorities and Councils as it provides enormous benefits, can facilitate quick turnarounds and significant savings.
SAVINGS
With a well organised recycling system in place, costs savings of 33-50% can be achieved, leaving only the installation left to consider. As recycled stocks start to build, ramps can be fully or partly installed with recycled sections. With enough returning stocks, 1 in 4 average sized ramps could be fully installed with recycled equipment.
ENVIRONMENT
We understand our environmental responsibilities and are passionate about reducing our carbon footprint. All of our products have been designed with longevity in mind, in terms of lifespan but also to ensure that recycling is an achievable. Recycling is an initiative that Mobility Plus are very keen to assist with and will help you throughout the process.
